Re: New OC

Yep, once again this is turning into a strawman. Many of us questioning our offensive output is not asking to move to the spread or otherwise. We want some accountability for an offense that's been consistently outside of the top 100. There is no way anybody can convince me we can't be at least top ...

Re: New Mexico

Once again...it has to be pointed out that qb's do not get better at throwing. The only time that has ever happened was JA...And there are a lot of factors that statheads point to that it is not JA's throwing that has improved...rather it has more to do with external factors. This is, of course, an...

Re: How can Bohl be OK with the offense, get new offensive coaches to save the program

We're a TOP team and make our living wearing other teams out at the line of scrimmage. So what does it say when arguably the worst offensive team in the nation who struggles to even have strength and conditioning this season, using their 5th string QB out-possesses us 35-25? Yes, losing Chad Muma on...

Re: A QB Away.....

Let's be honest, we're not getting a QB "who can throw better." Levi was rated a .846 by 247 sports, one of the highest we've ever had. We managed to snag him as he decommitted from Houston, where I'm sure he would've been successful. His senior year he had 3200 passing yards and 32 TD pa...

Re: New Mexico

I'd like to see a QB coach who actually improves the throwing of our QBs. It's not like the throws last night were right on target - even the TE screen forced an acrobatic 1-hand catch to be completed, and multiple throws were behind receivers, too tall, too long, or hit the ground because they were...

250,000 Dead despite significant restrictions and shutdowns - that means 0.075% of American residents have died to this outbreak, one where death isn't the only long-term negative outcome. That's also with less than 12 Million who have tested positive... calling it a "cold" is beyond ridic...

Re: Roll Call For Veterans

Not a U.S. veteran, but still want to thank you for your service. You probably had no choice, and still served honorably. I _had_ the choice and decided to not volunteer for KFOR in 2000 after my military service was up (in other words, I never risked seeing conflict unless I opted in). Even in a pe...

Re: Elephant in the room...

There isn't any way to change spent nuclear fuel into anything other than the most toxic substance on earth. It has a half life of 5000 years, which means it takes 5000 years for 5 grams to degrade into 2.5 grams and another 5000 years for it to degrade to 1.25 grams. It NEVER goes away. A lot has ...

Re: Elephant in the room...

Is it possible that the answer might not involve toxic substances at all? If our only solution is varying levels of toxicity, we're all doomed. Maybe we could find someone that will just inject spent nuclear fuel straight into our veins for $19.99 per horribly mutated, cancerous, slow death. They c...

Re: Elephant in the room...

I also think that McPeachy is on the right track with nuclear energy. We have plenty of space available for storage that would not impact residents. We also have plenty of open space in which to build a nuclear power plant or two. Meltdowns are INCREDIBLY rare, and the containment is such that if a...

Re: Elephant in the room...

I think the Great Depression was uniquely set up by the conditions at the time. While we're certainly already in a recession, we haven't exactly run out of the resources people need in order to survive, nor will we anytime soon. Yes, things are definitely testy politically, but it can be overcome......

Also...I think the "soft" incentive of a larger social media following has become a big deal...it is much easier to achieve that an Ohio State level program than at UW. That's a good point I haven't really thought much about. As for Texas and Bama and so on... from reading posts on /r/cfb...

I'm curious - how much do you think money under the table from bag men is going to possible recruits to Wyoming? It seems nobody's denying it's common practice in the larger conferences, including PAC-12 that is always trying to take the moral high road.

Too many colds? Trivializing something that 200,000+ people have died from in under a year so far is uncalled for. For most people, it isn't all that big of a deal to get it. My friend who's a pro golfer was pretty damn annoyed with all the talk about harder restrictions in Sweden too... and then h...

Re: Official I hate 2020 thread

A good friend of mine, Chaz Bufe, wrote/edited a modern update to Ambrose Bierce's "The Devil's Dictionaries" where he gives the definition of HELL, n. A place of eternal torment, much like the United States during an election year. 'Nuff said. With Biden apparently winning Pennsylvania, ...
