Re: Vaccine Requirements are Getting Out of Hand
The vaccine pumpers are starting to try to cover their behinds.... https://www.cell.com/cell-host-microbe/fulltext/S1931-3128(22)00572-8 Though littered with nonsense to cya, they are acknowledging the futility of their vaccine efforts. This is going to unravel. Many in this thread were duped. Not ...

Re: Bad News
Below, from Ryan Thornburgs reporting, doesn’t really matter to me. I do believe Linder dismissed them, but whatever…… “ Anderson and Agbonkpolo have not transferred out of Wyoming. They were dismissed from the program on Tuesday — not for any scandalous behavior or unwelcome incident, but simply b...

Re: NIL
Realistically, a Mountain West level NIL collective is going to probably have to shell out at least half a million a year to be competitive. I don't know if beer sales are going to cut it for that amount.
San Jose and Boise both have NIL collectives set up already from what I can tell.

Re: OT: Superbowl
Philly also got bailed out on a call when the receiver fumbled and KC took it back for 6 but was overturned. Just like the PI, borderline call that had a huge impact. Certainly not a fumble. It was absolutely incomplete - had it in his hands for like a quarter of a second of real time and made no s...

I get that upshot...and I hope your view of it reflects the reality and totality of this situation. You may be completely right about "some SoCal AAU facilitator"...but I don't think you are right about the landscape surrounding those people. There is enough money and motivated programs a...

Interesting tidbit... https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/former-usc-players-dismissed-from-wyoming-basketball-program/ar-AA17iufD?cvid=22d73788267e426381c4d8ba9a5bb576 Linder doesn't strike me as an idiot, so I have to believe dismissing players before the end of the season isn't simply a case ...

Re: Any ideas what's going on in Montana/spy balloon
Should have shot it down over sparsely populated Montana, but Biden had to wait for it to take all the pictures it needed of our military bases and missile infrastructure. I'm sure Biden is getting a nice Chinese kickback $$$ for allowing it to float all the way to the ocean. Boy, if you guys are t...

Re: Wyoming Wrestling
I agree with your statement that it is a very down year for Wyo wrestling. However, these are not the NDSU and SDSU teams of past years. NDSU is #14 and SDSU is #16 in team dual rankings. For comparison, perennial power Oklahoma State is #12. Doesn't excuse UWs poor performance, but those schools ar...

Re: Jordan Turnbull
Oh definitely, I was just saying how, at the D2 level, being offered a scholarship could mean full-ride, could mean a half scholarship or it could be as minimal as a few hundred dollars to cover books. Also, while the D2 limit is 36, some conferences have tighter limits. For example, the RMAC (Co M...

Re: Jordan Turnbull
Remember, a D2 scholarship offer could be as small as "we'll cover books but you pay the rest". Full rides at the D2 level are rare. So if it's between a grand or two at D2 or walk- on at D1, screw it. Half rides are common in D2 for highly thought of players. An equivalent of 36 full sch...

Re: Graham Ike to miss 6-8 weeks with a lower leg injury.
No NCAA rule for being out with Mono but general medical Guidelines is 5 weeks I guess. Usually minimum is 3 weeks. But to truly know, an ultrasound of the spleen can be done to see if it is still swollen. Odd though, I thought Thompson already had mono a couple years ago. While not impossible to g...

Re: With the way things are trending in CFB
No, unless the landscape of college football changes a LOT, a move to FCS would be financial suicide for UW athletics.
I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that I honestly think cutting the football program would be on the table before dropping to FCS.

Re: Recruiting/Transfer Class
Do you think he's not good enough?...is ND making a mistake by making him a preferred walk-on? Money is definitely not everything but neither is playing every snap for a team that is only semi-competitive in an increasingly irrelevant conference. I'm also pretty sure that athletes go to ND or Michi...

Re: Graham Ike to miss 6-8 weeks with a lower leg injury.
Enough is enough what is the official un top scert injury????? Probably a stress fracture. That's not official, just my best guess based on what I've heard. It's been suggested by some in the press. That would make the MOST sense, but several other things are possible: Achilles strain, low-grade Li...

There is as much of a market for skiing as wrasslin'. Well, maybe not, but at least WYO won a NC skiing - somewhat recently, and WYO already has the training facilities. More importantly, and all joking aside, I don't think you are correct with your sentiments on men's soccer and Title IX, as when ...

Re: Graham Ike to miss 6-8 weeks with a lower leg injury.
You guys do realize that if the player doesn't want their injury information discussed then it would be illegal for the coaches/university to do so. Also, many injuries have a very broad timeline, so it's hard for the coaches to relay what that timeline is when no one (including the athlete or medic...
