Yeah, Sawvel is the Promote Bohl Junior coach. Good or bad; win or lose; that's how we got here. We've had rat boy, piano man, d!@# face, etc. Sawvell is PBJ to me.

Re: How do you feel about the QB position
He didn't get offered money. My guess is PBJ coach was worried he'd go somewhere closer to home. I don’t get the ‘PBJ’ coach reference or the need for it. Coach Sawvel, Sawvel or Jay (how he introduces himself) would seem to be who you are referring to. Yeah, Sawvel is the Promote Bohl Junior coach...

Re: Liberals just don’t understand economics…..
In all fairness, neither side does. They drove us over a fiscal cliff. National debt is on track for 144 trillion by 2050 (or near there).
The biggest National security issue is DC's spending addiction.

Re: 2024 Mountain West Football Schedules
Hmm, pretty favorable schedule. 2nd coming of JA. PBJ coach that everyone is falling over. Offense that is opening up. 9+ wins next year? Seriously though, out of the first 8 games, it I think 2 have a pretty high chance of w but 1 is on the road. The others could be a little tough. One thing is for...

Re: How do you feel about the QB position
So the answer to NIL is name the guys starters in Dec? It’s a sliding scale. Maybe Svoboda could have got an extra $25-50K to go somewhere else this year but with no guarantees to start or play. By naming him the starter, he has a chance to shine and pull in real big $$s next year if he is successf...

Re: How do you feel about the QB position
So like I said we're not at risk and have not been at risk for a money offer poaching. For literally every player, other than those playing their final year of eligibility, their NIL value can change at the end of next season. We're not at risk because he was named starter. The competition this spr...

Re: How do you feel about the QB position
If a p5 comes in with big money, he's gone regardless. If he's still on the roster this fall it's because the offers didn't come. You've been banging that drum louder than anyone. He will be here this fall. The portal period ends April 30 and there are no non-graduating transfers after that point. ...

Re: Revisiting covid Nazi wrongs
BTW, do power stats on the ivermectin data. The studies were too small to be definitive. If the vaccine data were restricted to that small of sample size, it'd be likely nonsignificant. If you stratify vaccines use by age, for most age groups, the vaccine did nothing.

Re: Revisiting covid Nazi wrongs
So you agree a doctor should be able to prescribe ivermectin and the fda and pharmacists should stay out of it? That's contrary to the covid nazism Yes, it is within a doctor's right to prescribe medications if indicated, or if they think they are appropriate. Just like it is in the doctor's right ...

Re: How do you feel about the QB position
Not being a jerk but there is not a risk of someone coming in to pay him. He played 1 game with 136 yds and 1 int. Yes it was TX, but there isn't enough body of work to demand a payday in the portal. There certainly might have been g5 options for him. I would hope the Dec starter announcement was l...

Re: How do you feel about the QB position
There is no doubt that offering Svoboda out of Snow College was a major gamble. It was a reach, and 98% of the time, those don’t pan out. Hopefully he is an outlier. I’m not sure any tape from HS or JUCO is really relevant to the player Svoboda is today. Our best metric for making any predictions i...

Re: How do you feel about the QB position
This seems similar to 2016 to me. Back then - there were folks really high on the recruit Chandler Garrett. Some even wondering if Nick Smith should be given a shot. Clearly neither of those guys were in the same dimension as Josh Allen in terms of physical abilities. I think most of us were all in...

Re: Revisiting covid Nazi wrongs
So you oppose the right of a doctor and patient to decide what's best for the patient and think politicians should intervene or pharmacists? Not at all... where in my post did I say anything resembling that assertion? So you agree a doctor should be able to prescribe ivermectin and the fda and phar...

Re: Revisiting covid Nazi wrongs
Medical decisions should be between a doctor and a patient. This case had nothing to do with that, the FDA was the body being sued. Not because they banned the use of ivermectin, just for discouraging it. If by beat them, you mean the FDA decided to settle instead of dragging the case out longer, t...

I have to think that if Sawvel believed this after a year of having May in the program then he wouldn’t have named a starter in December.

Re: Revisiting covid Nazi wrongs
I'm curious now that the TX doctor beat fda on invermectin case, do you covid Nazis feel he should have won? You were wrong about so much. Good luck getting that admission. I wonder how many of them have said "medical decisions should be between patients and doctor not politicians"...
