I know pretty much every school in the U. S. has cancelled their spring games...and for good reason.

But...by not having them, does it help or harm a team in the long run regardless whether you're Wyoming, Oklahoma, Clemson, some directional school at the Division II level...LOL...?
I want CHAMPIONSHIPS not chicken poop! And we're getting chicken poop!!!!!!!!!!!

It certainly depends on the school and how much they need those practices in the spring. At a school like Wyoming, offensively nothing is changing in terms of scheme so maybe not a huge loss. But defensively they could probably use some practices with the new D coordinator and any changes in scheme he might implement.

The schools it will hurt the most are teams like CSU and UNLV, with a new coach, new schemes, new everything.

One thing where this could actually help UW (if these practices get moved to the summer) is that they had a good number of injured guys (Chambers among them) that wouldn't have been in spring ball but might be ready by summer.

Certainly food for thought...

How many times do you need to practice 'run it up the middle'? We should be good to go for the fall. .... just kidding
