This sucks! Third time Chambers has had a season ending injury (assuming this ends his season). Dude is a competitor and can’t catch a break.
On the bright side - Williams will be a redshirt freshman next year after playing several games last year and being the starter this year. And Chambers will be a 4th year Sophomore.

If Sean chooses to come back we’d welcome him, but dang. How much abuse can one body take? I want him to have a normal, healthy life going forward. Get well soon , Sean

That is some harsh luck. And 3 years in a row.
You have to wonder if he'll try again next year or if he'll retire. If he does, I wouldn't hold it against him at all. If he comes back, props to him.

I personally don’t see him hanging it up. Dude is a competitor and has 3 years left to play! Depending on the severity and any complications, fibula breaks typically heal stronger than before. He’s been through it before.fromolwyoming wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 9:48 am That is some harsh luck. And 3 years in a row.

Is this the opposite leg from his last fibula break?

According to Bohl’s most recent statement, there is a possibility that surgery won’t be required (I.e. no bone displacement). If that’s the case, the recovery time should hopefully be lessened.
