2 weeks of prep gives us: 2 yards of offense for the entire quarter and a fumble and 2 costly penalties already

Agree that if our season turns out good it will be because Chambers rises to the occasion but I'm not sure what to make of calling Wyoming an unknown....We might be mediocre...definitely not any good. Good teams do not struggle with the teams that we have struggled against. Any real top third college football team would have a 4-0 record against the schedule we have but they would have looked obviously better. We belong solidly in the middle of the bottom half of college football..nothing I've seen in the first quarter makes me feel any different.ragtimejoe1 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 12:20 pm I think the game rests in Chambers' hands, but, imo, both WYO and AF are a bit unknown at this stage of the season.
The O line was/is seriously over hyped.
"I never saw a buckin' hoss to top Steamboat. Fact is, he was the closest thing to perpetual motion that ever wore hair. Few men could stand that kind of battering without bleeding from the nose, and most became nauseated as well. Ol' Steamboat put some of the toughest into the hospital for repairs."

Yeah, POKES look to be heavily overmatched in this one. Hopefully it's just some needed adjustments but definitely not looking good so far.307bball wrote: ↑Sat Oct 09, 2021 5:49 pmAgree that if our season turns out good it will be because Chambers rises to the occasion but I'm not sure what to make of calling Wyoming an unknown....We might be mediocre...definitely not any good. Wow the offense has nothing against this defense. Can't run and can't pass

AF converting every 4th down and having that pass called incomplete is a recipe for a quick loss. O can’t get any rhythm but doesn’t matter much if the D can’t get off field. Have we even won after a bye week?

Fawaz is turning out to be less than expected. We have nothing going on. Polasek looks worse than Vigen in game readiness for this MWC game. Very disappointed in this gameplan so far. Defense will have to get points for us to score.

Wow that was the worst good pass for a touchdown I've ever seen...
I can't believe we ended up tied after that ugly display.

Chambers has a good habit, he wins. Regardless of the beauty of it. Love to see us get one from crusty Calhoun. Christensen did have that hallmark moment of calling the jerk out. Lets get it done Pokes.
