There it was.
SJSU game thread.
"I never saw a buckin' hoss to top Steamboat. Fact is, he was the closest thing to perpetual motion that ever wore hair. Few men could stand that kind of battering without bleeding from the nose, and most became nauseated as well. Ol' Steamboat put some of the toughest into the hospital for repairs."

So whats the deal with our defensive backs? How is it game after game that they are never in position to stop pass plays? They don't look like they are too slow, but they are never in the position to actually knock the ball down or make a play on the ball. Is it coaching? Does every team that we have faced contain five-star receivers?

Part of it is that they make mistakes... But if your playing a good team they will get open at some point. Good offenses in college football will get guys open, even against good defenses. Our defense isn't "bad", we often hold teams to lower than they would otherwise get.. It's just that we really can't score.WyomingAgJ wrote: ↑Sat Oct 01, 2022 7:39 pm So whats the deal with our defensive backs? Peasley still bouncing passes, something I can't really remember him doing any other game until today after the injury. Time to give Clemens a chance again?

Yes he was injured on the first offensive play of the game and went to the medical tent for three or four plays. It looked to be on his throwing arm or throwing shoulder, but has been back in since that time. He just has been off on a lot of passes for most of the game. But these last two drives he finally is looking a little betterLanderPoke wrote: ↑Sat Oct 01, 2022 8:21 pmPeasly is hurt?WyomingAgJ wrote: ↑Sat Oct 01, 2022 7:48 pm Peasley still bouncing passes, something I can't really remember him doing any other game until today after the injury.
