It came down to the last match and Wyoming leading 19-16, but Jensen pulled out a late takedown to seal the victory.
He said he could feel the energy of the fans and it helped him seal the win.

WYO 22 OSU 16. They are back in action Friday at home against Air Force.

Closer than I anticipated, but a good win none the less. Dewey is really struggling.

Yeah I have no diea what is going on with Dewey. Last year he pinned a 197 while weighing at 157. I wonder if the weight cut is taking a toll on him, or if something else is going on. Clearly he is beating Loveless in practices, but would like to see him turn it on

They matched up well with us. And Verner shouldn't get pinned. That was bad.

The whole dual had upset written all over it. However, I do feel it may have been a wake up call. West Virginia will be tough, along with Fresno State, Utah Valley and South Dakota St. So they need to keep their foot on the gas.

CSU-B is probably the toughest dual they have left minus Utah Valley on the road. WVU has not been a great wrestling program lately and SDSU is way down this year. Their 197 Tanner Sloan is going to be a monster, but Gross has not wrestled much this year.
I knew Tate Samuelson was good, but his counter attacks were unreal.

Verner made one little mistake and Bresser capitialized. Bresser took Rivera to OT, so hopefully Verner shakes it off.

Bresser is one of the best in the country and is my surprise pick to win the National Championship over Spencer Lee if the bracket works out that way. I agree, not the worst loss.

I believe that UVU and WVU will still present decent tests. I am a bit concerned that we face the weakest competition at the end of the schedule. Sometimes that can lead to poor performances at the conference championships.
