The games currently scheduled don’t include a multi-team event (MTE) that Linder is trying to bring to the Arena-Auditorium during Thanksgiving week. The original concept was to hold a round-robin tournament with three other teams over three days, but “really what it’s turned into is just pretty much three buy games,” Linder said.

In case you missed it.......

“It’s definitely been huge,” Maldonado said. “It’s only going to help that these guys coming in are willing to work and get down and dirty. I’m excited to work with all of them, but we have done nothing at this level yet.

“We still need to prove ourselves.”

After a bit of deliberation and soul-searching, the duo decided to put its faith in Linder. Having tasted success in an unlikely run to the semifinals of the 2020 Mountain West Tournament, both Foster and Marble wanted to hold on to that feeling. The two combined for 33 points in a tight loss to eventual champion Utah State and showed glimpses of what the future could hold.

"Jimmy played an integral part in our success at Northern Colorado," Linder said. "He was with me from day one and getting him to follow me here was one of my biggest priorities. Our familiarity with one another and his understanding of what I want from a strength and conditioning aspect will make the transition much easier. The players will love working with him and they will find out quickly that he will make them better players."

Great news! Looking forward to the new look cowboys, and returning to winning ways from 20 or so years ago. Another solid hire from Burman, after many failed or mediocre attempts!
Dear Karma,

Quarantine gives a guy plenty of time to find information. Here's an article about Graham Ike.

I've been watching highlights of this guys high school games. He's impressive. If he gets the ball within six feet of the rim, he can score at will. There arent many teams in Colorado with the size to guard him. He's very raw and uses his athleticism to get points in the paint. He reminds me of Ugo before he blew out his knee. He's 6'8" with a big frame and supreme athleticism. Once he realizes his physical tools, he has the potential to be an incredibly difficult defensive match up for anyone.

The skys the limit for Ike.
