Wyoming Cowboys:
To say that Wyoming just suffered its worst loss of the season is both technically correct and a bit misleading. Before the Cowboys dropped a nine-point decision on the road to New Mexico, the most damaging outcome on this profile was a neutral-floor loss to Stanford. That's not that damaging. And even after allowing Arizona State transfer Jaelen House to run up 34 points for the Lobos, this Wyoming team is still 21-4 and vying for a Mountain West title. A projected No. 7 seed can still happen if the Cowboys cure whatever ailed them for the last 40 minutes on defense. (updated Feb. 15)
So at least everyone isn’t tossing us off a ledge yet. We just need to win all the home games. If we could somehow split the CSU / UNLV games that would be good enough. Would hope we can get one of them and not lose both.
