Anybody know much about this? I've seen their commercials from time to time, but have to admit ignorance to much else about them.

They are part of the indoor professional league or something.

I loved going to watch Cav games.. they were a blast. Arena football is a whole different animal, but just as much fun. I think I'm gonna go take in some Spokane Shock games this year..

If you get payed to play you're a professional. Semi-pro implies amateurs playing in a feeder league with no compensation.
Sorry to be a nazi about this, but I played semi-pro football for a while, and it bugs me when professionals such as those on the Cavalry (who are miles better than most of the people I played with) get knocked down to my level with the semi-pro label.

Thanks for some of the info guys. Also looks like there are players that went to school at Oklahoma State, UCLA, and Florida State. Though, not a one of them from UW.

Matt Strand is still QB?!? Jeez, that guy was QB when I last saw a Cav game 5 years ago.
Spiderman Jones isnt on the team anymore he plays for the Sioux Falls Storm of the IFL now, Hell we only got 5 guys from last years team returning Strand being one of them but he is.. Well he dosnt throw alot of Picks but he overthrows alot i was there for the Home opener last week and if he didnt overthrow 50% of his passes the game wouldnt have went into OT but i guess it dont matter cus he got the Winning TD and 2 Pt in

Been a season ticket holder now for several years. The first time I went to a game, they were the Casper Cavalry. I thought "no way this could be good". But we have seats on the 25 yard line, and the only time we have a bad seat is when people don't understand moving between plays instead of during.

Billings still has a team? They used to be the Cavalry's biotch before they left for a start-up league.
