I'm still thinking the season gets canceled, but, in the meantime, the MWC needs to go conference only. Let AF play the cic games.
If MWC stays as is, I wonder who we fill the game with?

This sucks. I wish the MWC would just come out and say “we’re playing no matter what”

The fear of getting sued and the cost of logistics with testing, etc...is what driving all the big boys to cancel football for this fall.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2020 9:10 pm This sucks. I wish the MWC would just come out and say “we’re playing no matter what”

Lawyers and politicians are the bane of this country. Sadly both are a necessary evil.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2020 10:02 pmyeah, fear of litigation is powerfulWyokie wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2020 9:47 pmThe fear of getting sued and the cost of logistics with testing, etc...is what driving all the big boys to cancel football for this fall.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2020 9:10 pm This sucks. Enjoy tonight because by this time tomorrow the season may very well be over. Lot of rumors flying around that the Big Ten will cancel. They were also in discussion with the other Power 5 to make a joint announcement. If the Power 5 drop, I don't see anyway the MWC, Conference USA and Sun Belt don't do the same.

Frankly, I'm surprised it took this long (assuming announcement to cancel/postpone the season is made this week).
It will give time to address the other elephant in the room, college player's association.
