The reports I've read. indicate he was committed to Mississippi State as a preferred walk-on but after Leach died is now learning toward Montana State.OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 7:20 pmWasn’t he offered to walk-on like the other in-state signees?Itsux2beaewe wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 6:42 pm Was Coon out of Sheridan not offered? He committed to Montana State as PWO. His brother is on the team there and his sister lives in Bozeman.doreno5 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 8:33 amThe reports I've read. indicate he was committed to Mississippi State as a preferred walk-on but after Leach died is now learning toward Montana State.OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 7:20 pm

Sounds like there is some butt-hurt-edness going on. I trust Bohl when it comes to recruiting. It may not make sense in the newspaper (online) to not go after the kid to play at UW, but maybe he wants out of Wyoming no matter what. He is not a Bartlett or Bryan (Taven) when it comes to football talent...flyfishwyo wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 12:32 pmHe committed to Montana State as PWO. I don't know if coon was even offered a PWO spot. Coon said in a paper that UW basically didn't recruit him at all. Not sure what's up with that. I'd like to have players like Coon in the program, but I am not privy to what's going on. Maybe something with the older Coon caused the butt-hurt.McPeachy wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 1:39 pmSounds like there is some butt-hurt-edness going on. I trust Bohl when it comes to recruiting. My understanding was that he had a PWO offer from UW and Montana State and chose to play with his brother. I don't have any inside knowledge on the situation, just what I read in a story on his commitment. Like you, I'll trust Bohl on this one. He's done a great job recruiting Wyoming kids. And he's shown that a PWO can earn a scholarship and play.McPeachy wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 1:39 pmSounds like there is some butt-hurt-edness going on. I trust Bohl when it comes to recruiting. Welcome receiver Ayir Asante a transfer from FCS Holy Cross. He is also a kick returner. Will be a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.

Tyler Jacklich is on scholarship
Says Tyler is a RB, but he looks like the next great UW middle linebacker to me. Moves great with good size
