Two weeks to prepare and this is the product they put on the field against the worst Boise team since 2013. I dared to dream this team could actually win a conference title. That will NEVER happen under Craig Bohl. Thus begins the annual slog to 7-5 and another stupid New Mexico Bowl. Unfortunately too many of our fans are A-OK with that.

Those ripping on Peasley should take a look at our rushing yards. A great big 27. No qb is going to look good when the rushing game is completely taken away. Our O-line decided to mimic matadors for the game. Ole!

I think the most frustrating thing is that even when something obviously isn't working, we keep doing whatever doesn't work. No adjustments EVER.

Really disappointed. Looks like teams watch some film and that's it for the season unless we can run them over.
Damn. Just damn.

hmmm, pretty sure that’s “insanity”, which is what I witnessed tonight.Asmodeanreborn wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 6:54 pm I think the most frustrating thing is that even when something obviously isn't working, we keep doing whatever doesn't work. No adjustments EVER.
I'll take the New Mexico Bowl over the Potato Bowl. Better weather, not playing on that ridiculous field, and a more interesting opponent (ie-not playing a MAC team). But I'd be happy with any bowl other than the Arizona Bowl which no one watches, so doesn't help with recruiting at all. The MWC could have a lot of bowl eligible teams, so maybe we'll land at the Boca Raton bowl. Then again, we still need to win another game to be considered...SDPokeFan wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 6:49 pm Two weeks to prepare and this is the product they put on the field against the worst Boise team since 2013. Could they embarrass themselves even more? I can’t believe I allowed them to get my hopes up earlier. Same old crap. Can Bohl decide to retire a year before his contract is up? Cuz the sumbitch needs to. Us little league coaches could do better

After this loss I’m not convinced we’ll make it to a bowl game.cowboyz wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 7:51 pmI'll take the New Mexico Bowl over the Potato Bowl. That was an ass kicking if I’ve ever seen one. It was basically as if Boise knew exactly what we were going to do before we did it. I mean, they even seemed to know exactly when we were going to snap the ball.
That said, this season is not completely lost. The team will need to regroup and bounce back next week…and I think they can. We are a much better team than we showed tonight.

At their worst and arguably at our best.

If you're looking for intelligent football discussion, Facebook and Twitter aren't exactly the places to be. That goes for any fanbase of any team in any sport, tbh. Those places are toxic wastelands. Our own fanbase isn't much better there.
'Swhy I mostly stick to the larger, established subs on Reddit like r/CFB. Close as you can get to intellectually honest discussion and decent sportsmanship.
