Too bad we couldn’t keep all the OC threads in one.

This wouldn’t make sense to me with the timing. If Sawvel was intending an internal hire, then why not announce Aaron Bohl and the OC at the same time? Sawvel has likely one FBS head coaching opportunity to get it right. If he fails, it’s unlikely he sees his time to shine again. He has already stated that the offense needs to change to accommodate a passing game. I think we will see an outside hire.
The timing would be strange I agree. Maybe contract negotiations with the holidays?

We'll see.

Insults are the last resort of fools with a crumbling position.

Neyor…….thought I’d rile up the natives today.
Svoboda to Neyor would be the most interesting QB-WR combo since Wallwork to Harris IMO.
Saw on twitter Nebraska is after Neyor

I forgot about the FCS championship game. Given Sawvel's background those are different possibilities.
By the way Washington's head coach and much of that staff have MW and FCS experience.

All I can say is that if anyone has a football tie to Sioux Falls, hire them. That whole staff was reared and cultured in that program and clearly know football. Holy cats.

Polasek made $350K and I believe a small bonus structure too. His raise to go to NDSU wasn’t much.

Because Sawvel will be making less than Bohl, there should be more money to go around. I’d anticipate we will be paying in the $400K range.
