Cole's last second loss and a big win by Sam has to fire up the guys. Giving them the belief they can wrestle with anyone.

We will see Branson and Hayden back to back since Branson is in the lower side of the bracket and Hayden on the upper side of 174.

Turner gets Mitch McKee of MINN next. The way he wrestled that 3rd period, he has a damn good shot! McKenna and Brock face off below and I wouldn't be shocked to see a Kaid Brock win.

No real big upsets so far in the tournament. The biggest is probably a #7 seed Gfeller of Oklahoma State losing in the first match.

Finesilver, a Colorado native, is a tough first round opponent for Ashworth. Big match coming up, let's go Branson!

Ashworth absolutely dominating and he looks fired up!! 8-1 in the 3rd period and Ashworth has over 4 minutes of riding time.

Hastings down 4-1 in the 1st to Lujan of UNI. He is wrestling aggressive but is going against a tough wrestler.

Hastings goes down 15-7. If he keeps that intensity in the wrestle backs, Hastings could surprise some people. Despite the score and the mistakes, I liked the effort.

Every time he gives up reversals and that flips the momentum on him. Wrestlebacks should be good for him.
