Howard
Another pretty weak team. Picked in the preseason to finish 9th out of the 11 teams in MEAC. They did score an upset of Oregon State in the opening game of the season but haven't won since. They actually played Oregon State another time this year and got beat by around 30. They do have a pretty impressive senior guard by the name of Eugene Myatt. He was expected to do big things when he was signed four years ago and has shown flashes of explosiveness throughout the years. He's not a great three point shooter, but will knock them down if we leave him open. His 12.1 points per game is a bit misleading. He has some very good offensive skills. He went for 41 in one game his sophmore season. I'm a little worried about how our defense will do against this guy. They don't really have a dominant post player which is good since we seem to have struggled against a legitimate big man so far this season. Howard is a better team than Houston Baptist is, so if we play like we did last night, we will probably lose. That being said, I think our shots will be falling a bit more tonight and that should be enough to get us past Howard with a W.
