Why is he doing it at a place called Big-Wangs?
If you ever need to laugh, just remember there was some idiot who wanted Bohl fired after 2 seasons.

Also, 18 year old kids are such entitled little bitches.
A f-word announcement card for your "next power move"? God damn you narcissistic douche.

You forget that many of these kids are the superstars of whatever little town they're from. They're the headline, the main act, front page material of whatever little newspaper they have... if you were a teenager, it'd likely get to your head too.BeaverPoke wrote:Also, 18 year old kids are such entitled little bitches.

Some of them continue down that path for quite a while after high school too.
Personally, I had a pretty big head as an 18-year old without half of all that, but the military kicked it out of me. Best thing that could've happened.

Why did it link to the hockey team on his page? He certainly wasn't on the roster... though I suppose he could've played last year or the year before. I'd love to see a close to 300 lbs guy on the ice... I mean, Byfuglien's already dominant enough at 270.

Anyway, if he played hockey, it's likely he's pretty damn mobile for his size, even if he wasn't all that mobile compared to your average hockey player.

I'm very impressed with the quality of the preferred walk-ons.

I'm impressed that we are GETTING preferred walk-ons. Though, that's a symptom of having DC as the HC for 5 years, where a lot of walk-ons left the program within a season or two (with some exception of course).LanderPoke wrote:I'm very impressed with the quality of the preferred walk-ons.

So much for Mr Large being a resource, didn't get Milo Hall either.303cowboy wrote:Well we didn't get Porter Gustin (picked USC) but his Dad did give us a nice shoutout. Thanked UW first out of a list of about 10 schools.

With only two scholarships remaining and slew of rb's and wr's already committed, I think Mr. Hall waited too long to make a decision and probably got shut out.Wyolie Coyote wrote:So much for Mr Large being a resource, didn't get Milo Hall either.303cowboy wrote:Well we didn't get Porter Gustin (picked USC) but his Dad did give us a nice shoutout. You guys actually thought we had a chance at Gustin? Are you kidding me?

No, didn't think we ever had a chance. I just watched the announcement out of curiosity and thought it was cool of his Dad to mention UW.BeaverPoke wrote:You guys actually thought we had a chance at Gustin? Are you kidding me?

I talked to his coach a while back.. he was looking at some walk-on opportunities at a few schools.303cowboy wrote:Anyone know what happened with the Big Horn WR Mayer?
On that note, unsticky'ing this, new one is tacked at the top. Feel free to drop recruiting tidbits you have in there for the upcoming season.
