Such an awesome court. Wow.
If you ever need to laugh, just remember there was some idiot who wanted Bohl fired after 2 seasons.

I think it looks pretty good, as well. However, I think when it comes to basketball court design less is more. I'm not crazy about the gigantic steamboat as it makes the overall design look a little busy. I also agree that if the gigantic steamboat were brown it would not look good.

The only thing I'm not huge on is the fact that inside the 3pt is the light color. But that appears to be the new trend in courts.

I'm not old enough for a mid-life crisis, however, I'm definitely in the middle of a mid-life crisis for many many other reasons.fromolwyoming wrote:Right. You're just in your mid-life crisis.MrTitleist wrote:I like it, it looks great. I'm not young, nor am I old..

Floor looks terrific. A+ design!
Maybe the idea was to keep the floor from being too "busy" as many floors are. But I thought the fans were supposed to be a lot closer to the court. So are there some seats they slide out for the games? I would like to see that configuration. It looks like the "far away" seats will be farther away than in the old AA.
Yeah the bring in (or slide out) seats along the side of the court(maybe at the ends too?) those seats are suppose to be much closer to the florr than before.Adv8RU12 wrote:Maybe the idea was to keep the floor from being too "busy" as many floors are. It'll take some getting used to but seeing the whole floor from a seating perspective it looks MUCH better than that weird fisheye angle and the drawing. The arena itself looks good and I am excited for my cushiony seats. Basketball can't come soon enough.
Man, I guarantee that we're going to have issues with the student section being on top of the visitor's bench and the fact that the visitor's tunnel is basically running through an unrestricted mass of students right on the floor. It's gonna be awesome!

Here's a close-up shot of the seats pushed back for practice purposes. Disregard the chicks in the picture. We don't know how they got in the shot.TSpoke wrote:Yeah the bring in (or slide out) seats along the side of the court(maybe at the ends too?) those seats are suppose to be much closer to the florr than before.Adv8RU12 wrote:Maybe the idea was to keep the floor from being too "busy" as many floors are. After seeing all of the new AA today in person, fans are in for a treat.
