My father sent me a link to a website that has really old newspapers from the early days of Wyoming.

Found one that had articles about the famous assassination of the Archduke Ferdinand of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire whose death started the First World War.

It's from the Wyoming Tribune which still exists today. It's published in Cheyenne.

The headlines on the day after everything changed for everyone but no one knew it at the time.

From two days AFTER the assassination, an article about how the archduke was insured for $12,000,000 (in 1914 money, probably worth $150M now) and his wife who died with him was insured for $6,000,000 in 1924 money (my guess ($75 million nowadays).
