I hope Bryce gets another shot at Heil. I think he can stick him, and he doesn't get stuck often.

Great start, got taken down early, but got the quick reversal, got 4-point near fall and then rode him out for the rest of the 1st period.

Meredith gets the win, 8-4, on to the 3rd place match!
Pretty much dominated the #8 seed out of Missouri, one small hiccup in the 2nd, but Bryce was in control pretty much the whole way.
He'll once again face his former teammate Jack (NC State) in the consol finals to determine 3rd/4th place.

Well that was certainly weird...
Damn...Meredith was in control, leading 5-2 in the 3rd period with less than a minute left, Jack wins with a defensive pin. Jack went in for a shot and Bryce tied him up, in the process of trying to kill time, Bryce ended up pinning himself basically.

That was horse poop of the highest degree. Especially since Bryce had him pinned way more convincingly in a similar fashion. non-control pins are such bull poop subjective calls. ARGGGgh! Bryce dominated that match and got robbedWestWYOPoke wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2017 10:39 am Well that was certainly weird...

I agree, non-control pins are completely bogus. I wasn't even paying attention to his shoulders as I thought he was nowhere near danger, but the announcers seemed to think it was legit. Hard to say and since the feed doesn't have replay I wasn't able to get another look at it. Bryce sure was surprised though. Tough way to finish the season when he was less than a minute from getting 3rd.
Great run Bryce, if there is a silver lining to losing like this, hopefully it will motivate him even more to come back next year and go win a title.

That was definitely a pin, a very weird way to get pinned though. Bryce had to scramble out of that same situation earlier in the match. It's a dangerous spot to be in. Bryce could have given up the take down and won the match. Getting tied up like he did is tough. He'll learn and move on.

Can't believe Penn State went 5-0 in the finals.. and upset some former champions along the way. I don't know what Sanderson is feeding those boys, but god damn. Gabe Dean going down was the biggest shocker. Or Oklahoma State only having one guy in the finals.

I still can't believe it. Cael really is the premier coach. He gets the most out of his guys time after time.MrTitleist wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2017 12:02 pm Can't believe Penn State went 5-0 in the finals.. and upset some former champions along the way. Dean and IMar going down is shocking. Just crazy.
