Overall, have to be happy with the first round. Would have been nice for Verner to hold on but the Pokes advance 4 to the round of 16 (Bridges, Turner, Ashworth, Andrews).

Pokes to face the Big 10 in round #2. All of them as underdogs by seed but all except maybe Steveson very winnable for the Pokes.

Ashworth beat White this year. If Ashworth wrestle loose then he will beat White. Cole, Hayden, and Tate just need to win next match to gain some confidence back far from out of it.

1st Round Consols:
125- Verner - Punke (MIZZ)...dont know anything about Punke but he has a losing record. Verner must win.
174-Hastings v. De La Riva (NDSU) ...Hastings is the better wrestler. Let's not have a repeat of the Big 12s. Hastings must win.
184-Samuelson v. Parker (Princeton)...don't know anything about Parker but he is from Princeton and has a #31 seed. Samuelson must win.
