He's a lot more muscular than most 18 year olds we see. He's more Leonard Washington's "grown-ass man" than Larry Nance's "praying mantis" as a freshman.

Hope he can give us some rebounding and defense for 15 -20 min/game.

He's still only a freshman that hasn't played in a very long time, but at least there is hope for him to play tough. Thompson has been making freshman mistakes all year so it's hard to see Ike being any worse on the defensive end.

3 fouls in 5 minutes isn't good but he's a much better rebounder than the 6'10" guy that just had a missed free throw bounce off his back when he was already heading back on d.

Didn’t see us blowing this lead, but they did. Be surprised if we pull this out

It was in doubt but I don’t mind being wrong. Ike looked a little nervous and rushed his opportunities IMO.

Williams is the best freshman guard I've seen here since Brandon Ewing. His penetration was the difference tonight. We got our 3d conference win - which is 1 more than all of last year. Will be exciting when fans are allowed back in the AA.

Great win. I thought “ here we go again” but we pulled it out.

I like the way Ike moves. He’s going to be an impactful player someday. Seems to have soft hands too.

Now let’s get the sweep

I get the frustration with HT - he doesn't create fear and loathing in the paint. But to his credit, it seems to my bad eyes that his help defense makes him look worse; he isn't very quick, so he struggles to compensate for poor outside defense. If the last couple of games are any indication, he'll benefit a lot from improved guard defense.

Meanwhile, Ike! Leonard Washington all over again.

Good start to the game today. Got Nevada's leading scorer in foul trouble very early. Ike already getting some rebounds and points. Up 12-1 in the first 4 minutes. Let's get the sweep.

Ike got comfortable fast. 18 points and 6 boards with 6 minutes left and he plays good d.

It looks like Thompson won't have to carry the load in the post anymore.

I was telling some friends during the game yesterday that Ike is going to be the best pure center we've had since Uche. His dropstep turnaround jumper is WAY better than it should be for a guy that hasn't played in over a year. He seems to love contact, too, and he's got a ton of muscle on his frame already. He's going to be VERY good for us.

Ike looked like Hakeem out there. Don't know if he'll be that good offensively every game, but he made a huge impact. Only a true freshman too!
