SJS a slight betting favorite this week

We are getting 1 at home this Saturday. I'm a bit surprised that we aren't a 3 pt favorite or so. But their strong showing against Auburn is getting them some cred.. That, and we haven't beat them in a while.
This would be a big win for us. A loss would be disastrous to our mountain division chances.

We are 1-4 against them since they joined the MW.

It's their good passing attack. It's our poor passing defense. Unfortunately, I would have to pick SJS. However if the Pokes implement a strong pass rush I could change that. The secondary won't do it.

The Pokes win this one. In rather impressive fashion.

I’ll be there for the super nachos.

WYO is now getting 2.5, at home. Interesting line.

SJSU can make the argument that they have looked better than any other MWC team in the early going. Combine this with Bohl's struggles against them and it makes me very nervous as well.

I think the boys get it done. May the odds be in our favor

These are the past games that worry me for the upcoming game:

https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/bo ... awaii.html (Hawaii 17 - Wyoming 13)

https://www.espn.com/college-football/r ... /401310756 (Hawaii 38 Wyoming 14)

Cordeiro made huge plays in both.

That's fair to be worried because of those, but we have a quarterback ourselves that can keep the chains moving unlike years past. And our offensive lines seems to be jelling. I think we will be fine coming back down to similar equipped competition.

I have a good feeling on this one. I took the moneyline on Wyo to win.

Their strength happens to line up with our weakness.

This will be an excellent game and a huge win if we can pull it off. I'm really excited for this one.

Ok...Wyoming still getting 2.5 I think. If you believe in trajectory, Wyoming is the pick. The Cowboys have problems but have trended in the right direction. The loss in Provo was not a shellacking like the Illinois loss.

If you believe that the metrics that show Wyoming outside of the top 100 in both offensive and defensive EPA, take the Spartans.

Sometimes past performance is indicative and sometimes it isn't .... let's hope the Pokes show that they are continuing to develop and fix things that are not working.

This. Any team with a passing pulse has been able to move at will.

On the flip side, the players always seem to be in position - just a step off, and the team has improved every week as a whole.

Wyoming 24, SJSU 21

I think the Pokes should cover +2.5 and probably win outright. This game makes me nervous though as Cordeiro seems to have our number. Potential to be a great game.

The Pokes are young and improving, but Bohl is still Bohl.
Will the stadium's renovations include a Bohl's Kool Aid concession?
The SKID continues.
SJSU wins.

I think the bottom line here is that SJSU is good enough to beat us with an average game.... It's not like they need to be at thier best to win this one.

If Wyoming can't get to thier QB they will just out score us.... We will know early.

We need to have a DB finally make a play on the ball and get us a turnover.

Yep, 24-21 is the line and that’s what I’m going with.

Go Pokes!!
