Burman ought to be fired for his grand idea for lower section seating. Looks absolutely horrible to have so many vacant seats.

Powell had position. Why do we have to always have the blind refs do our games?

It is hard to win when we are so utterly and thoroughly outmatched down low. We get the ball down low and get stuffed. We get it inside and just get dominated. No guards or big men have the strength or athleticism to score down low. Tough to win like that

It’s too bad the Pokes couldn’t continue what they had going in the 1st half. Tale of two half’s.

I thought we played well enough to win until the last 4 minutes. Seemed to run out of gas.

That's it in a nutshell. They have multiple big men who can score down low and defend. They have good enough outside shooting to make you defend them and then they get it inside. They look like the best team in the conference to me. We just don't have enough firepower and too many guys have to play almost the entire game. At the college level, I've always suspected that outside shooting percentage falls in the second half. Don't know if it's true or not, but it has certainly been true for us.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 10:09 pm It is hard to win when we are so utterly and thoroughly outmatched down low.
