Discovery can be a bitch. The spin was always the MWC covertly took advantage of the poor remnants of the pee2. Not saying that the MWC couldn’t be victimized by any action they have taken in a court judgement, but this stuff is what I was hoping to see exposed as it deflates portions of the pee12 argument that they are simply victims of a vindictive MWC.
Not exactly sure what you are talking about. Discovery officially started yesterday and thus there has been no discovery to-date.
Was commenting on going forward with discovery if these allegations can be established in negating the pee12 argument that they were caught off guard and taken advantage of.
The PAC’s real argument is that the poaching penalties are an unenforceable penalty because they act as a windfall allowing the MWC to double dip for the same harm. The rest of the PAC’s claims and assertions are largely just additional thrown-ins that are unlikely to occupy much of the court’s time IMO.

With that being said with proof now, I changed my mind about continuing our games with ANY of them in the future. The deal made with the stupid sheep next year is now the most disappointing thing I’ve seen Burman do. They literally tried to leave us into an oblivion, and we agreed to play them anyway? C’mon son! I hope Gloria rides this all the way to the end and shit falls apart. I’ll laugh when Boise leaves for “greener” pastures and the rest of them are stuck or begging to come back.
Either Boise OR Oregon State will be the one that'll start the end of the PAC Whatever once a Big 12 invitation gets handed out...and it will. I do think Wazzu will end up with us eventually. Gonzaga, not a chance in hell IMO.
I have firsthand experience dealing with federal courts, although not in a sports capacity. The first and most important lesson I learned the process is lengthy and guessing the outcome is unwise. I have two cases awaiting to be heard for the past three years. Due to my age, I have accepted that I may not be alive to see the result. I'm hopeful my wife is still around to collect any benefits from my cases. And yes, Discovery is a bitch - one case was slightly more than 18 months in Discovery, and then the judge ruled against me on all points except one. Now the appeal is in the system, who knows when it will be heard. My attorney told me that courts are backlogged until November 2026.
