Larry shyatt is coaching the Mavs summer league team. Josh signed with them. This could be very good for Josh's future. The level of comfort will be high. I'm excited for his opportunity. If he can defend at a high level and jump some passing...

I love this. Josh is objectively good enough to play in the league. I hope he gets noticed by a team this year. I mean, even a D league (G league now?) gig would be a good start.

Good news...the MAVS are an undefeated 4-0 in summer league!
Bad news, no evidence that Josh Adams has even attended a single game. I believe the games are in Orlando right now. The games in Las Vegas don't start until July 7 I believe.
He's listed on their Las Vegas roster. I don't think he's playing in Orlando.OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2017 1:40 pmGood news...the MAVS are an undefeated 4-0 in summer league!

is there a difference or competition better in Orlando vs LV, just curious, wouldn't think it would matter too much, it's NBA caliber players, get em JoshDVDA wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2017 1:46 pmHe's listed on their Las Vegas roster. No. I think Vegas actually has more competition because their are more teams. Some teams only play in Orlando or Vegas and a few have teams in both.stymeman wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2017 9:37 amis there a difference or competition better in Orlando vs LV, just curious, wouldn't think it would matter too much, it's NBA caliber players, get em JoshDVDA wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2017 1:46 pmHe's listed on their Las Vegas roster. The Vegas circuit is definitely the bigger of the two and allows fans and has a playoff style tournament and champion. Orlando's is in a small practice court with no crowd just scouts, coaches, and players.

Las Vegas is a much bigger deal than Orlando. I was in McCarran on the 4th and saw several players grabbing their bags and heading for their hotels. Here's a pretty good synopsis of what is going on in Las Vegas from July 7 through the 17th.gopokes1399 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2017 1:27 pmNo. I think Vegas actually has more competition because their are more teams. They tied for third in the Turkish league last year. Fenerbahce is the premier Turkish team.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2017 3:31 pm Approximately how much will Josh be making? Is this a high level Euro team? I know nothing about European bball

Sounds to me like Adams knows where he can play so he is taking his talent there. If the NBA comes calling great but he isn't going to hold on to a dream and miss his chance to actually play.
Good for him I'll keep watching the euro games to see him play.
