Very strange world we live in! Strange that 1) people are making a big deal about tweets he posted when he was 13-16 years old, and 2) some creep thought it would be a great idea to uncover tweets from 8 years ago and wait to expose them until less than 12 hours before the NFL Draft.
If I were Josh Allen I’d be looking for a new agent. Whoever he’s working with has clearly shown an inability to protect his client and set him up for success.

Most of these were quote tweets so he didn't even say them. Basically retweeted some stupid stuff when he was 15. This will get blown way out of proportion but yeah hard to believe he didn't go through and delete this stuff along time ago.
From profootball talk on who uncovered the tweets: It could have been the agent representing another player who could be picked instead of Allen at any of the spots where Allen could be picked. It could have been a team that wants Allen to be available when that team picks. It could have been an old enemy from the small town Allen grew up in who is hoping to stick it to him as he prepares to embrace the NFL limelight.
Can't imagine coming up in this day and age where every thing you said and every move you made as a kid is recorded

I'm not too surprised he didn't delete the tweets. He's a kid in a small farm town. He's not recruited out of high school. Who the hell would even read his tweets? I'm sure he'd forgotten about them. Amazing that someone would go back and look at them. But fine. I hope he drops to the 5th pick and Denver gets him.

geez. Really scummy of someone to bring this up. I'm guessing it won't be a big deal and it ultimately won't affect where he goes to.
We all do and say dumb stuff as kids. Just like when Larry called Kobe Bryant a #rapist or something

Unfortunate but people will forget like they did with Nance Jr.'s Kobe tweet. Actual character wins out always.

But will they though???? they'll raze him at 1st but once they see his leadership characteristics and abilities this will soon be water under the bridge as well, wonder if this was ever a factor in the UW locker room? Liberal media always diggin

My first thought was an agent for one of the other top QBs released it.

You would think so, but teens do some stupid stuff.
Can you honestly look back on your teenage years and say, with confidence, that you never did or said anything you now regret? I know I do, and that wasn't that long ago for me (compared to others on here, at least).

Schefter said this morning that the tweets were deleted back in January, so someone screencapped them before that and waited to release them.. so apparently Josh's agent did his diligence, but maybe not soon enough.

Better not ever quote music or television!
