Alonzo Gray-Hall
Hopefully he's able to sign soon. Supposedly he's had some issues with grades/ACT scores and may not be NCAA eligible at the moment.
But Bohl also talks about getting the right type of guys who are excited to study at UW, so I doubt he'd be wasting time/resources on a kid they don't believe in.
Good day to be a Cowboys fan!

Not necessarily. Even though he signed, he could still be ineligible for the fall until he finished certain courses or gets GPA up. Similar to Bradley Belt on the basketball team.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 3:00 pmIf he's signed does that mean he's out of the woods concerning his academic issues?
No clue if this is the case with him or not. Looks like a good get for UW.

Whoa!Hall was named to the 2018 Division I First Team Los Angeles All-City Football Team, and was named the Los Angeles Division I Defensive Lineman of the Year.
Also, whoever recruited him did a great job...look at mom rocking the UW sweater in his video. They got mom onboard and he followed.

Besides walkons, my number one kid to root for. Every year there’s one or two kids I like to root for just based on their background. I hope he tears it up. What’s with that hater in the tweets? Jesus.

From his highlight vids, he looks to have the motor of a Granderson with a head start on the size

I get a strange feeling that the grades thing is overblown... In the words of Donald Trump "this is fake news people"
If u read the article from the latimes is states that he was raised the last two years by a family friend, the lady in the signing video is actually the mom of a current cowboy cornerback, and probably a very close relationship too Alonzo.
Fresno probably felt a miss coming, didn't want to lose out on another Wyoming recruit. That's what I feel.

Wow that is interesting. He is from Philly and his mom and grandma dies so two years ago moved to California and moved in with current Wyoming cornerback Ja’lani Ellison's family. That connection must have helped a lot. Very cool.

I think it says a lot about the program that Ja'lani and his family would encourage Alonzo to come here.

Great point. The Bohl environment is stable and very positive.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 8:57 amI think it says a lot about the program that Ja'lani and his family would encourage Alonzo to come here.
