I was hoping Duncan would stay for a year and help with the transition while keeping some continuity. My guess we have at least 2 kids leave.

Unfortunate, but I can see why he would. Good luck in the future Mr. Duncan!

Troll much? Haha. I won't bad mouth him, but if he thinks he can find a better opportunity elsewhere, I hope the door doesnt hit him on the way out. I understand at that level, loyalty comes with Zeros behind it. That doesn't mean I have to like it. Go hire a replacement who wants to be here.wyokoke wrote:So should we bad mouth him since he decided not to be at Wyoming, or is that just for 18 year olds?
Wasn't he going to leave last year or the year before? Shyatt convinced him to stay - i thought. I kinda figured he would leave since he didn't get the HC gig here. I'm guessing there was no chance we could keep both allen and duncan after shyatt left.

Duncan is a solid recruiter and judge of undiscovered / raw talent. But he is no coach, and not an X's and O's guy. He will tell you that to your face. He worked great with Shyatt, maybe there isn't such a perfect fit with Edwards. Either way, I wish him the best, thanks for everything, including bringing us DC and the years of Dunk Town excitement!

I could be wrong, but I think Duncan was the lead recruiter for Naughton, which adds to your point regarding evaluation of potential.McPeachy wrote:Duncan is a solid recruiter and judge of undiscovered / raw talent.
