Backfield as receiver is gonna be big this game. I think they are gonna use him in that capacity alot. I hope we can cover that.

I'm sure that they will be watching him very carefully. I think a few wrinkles here and there will change but both teams want to pound the ball. With the cold weather I anticipate short routes and screens.

We haven't seemed to cover anyone out of the backfield all year loldjm19 wrote:Agreed. This is why not having May hurts so badly.

Definitely looks like a bait title.
As for Pumphrey, it might be dumb, but I'd rather face him with lots of touches than Penny. We were able to more or less shut down Pumphrey, while Penny averaged 15+ yards per carry and had that kickoff return TD on top of that.

I think that Pumphrey out of the backfield was only effective (the first time we played them), because we were in more of a prevent type defense, thinking there was no way they could go 99 (or whatever) yards in a minute and change.
Dear Karma,
I have a list of people you missed...

Hmm, I was expecting closet
Too bad turf doesn't get really hard when it gets cold out like natural grass. Covering SDSU's backs with Appleby in the middle and DJ May over the middle will be difficult. Here is to hoping their replacements step up big time!

Well, they get a head start on next year, since both were seniors. That's a small bright side to this.OrediggerPoke wrote:Hmm, I was expecting closet
