60 yards but still looked good. The buffalo line is terrible. I'm not sure if I'm hoping he starts or not. They already have 1 QB down and I'll bet they lose another if they can't shore up protection.FarEastPoke wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 11:18 pm Allen went 9 for 13 for 113 yards with an average of 4.6 with 1 TD. I didn't pay attention but was that a safety or corner blitz that got Josh on his blindside? I'm glad no injuries but that was a good lesson on speed in the NFL. Gotta read the d and get ball out fast when blitzes outnumber blockers.
He's looking really good and you can tell he's putting the work in.

When is the last time a Wyoming QB started a game? Has a Wyoming QB ever started?

And his o-line was worse than ours last year. Watched it myself.FarEastPoke wrote: ↑Sun Aug 26, 2018 5:22 pm Allen went 6 for 12 for 34 yards with an average 2.8. Let's be honest, though. It wasn't all on the O-line. Josh looked plenty bad on his own.

His receivers also weren't getting open, and looking at Kelvin Benjamin, dropped a perfect pass.Asmodeanreborn wrote: ↑Sun Aug 26, 2018 5:34 pm Let's be honest, though. It wasn't all on the O-line. Josh looked plenty bad on his own.
Josh had 2 bad passes, but that was it.

That is perhaps as bad an NFL offensive line as I have ever seen... woof. No matter who is under center I don't think that's going to be a very good team.

50 yards better than Peterman, the team's leading rusher, and no turnovers. He would have had a touchdown, but Buffalo's receivers are allergic to catching the ball.FarEastPoke wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 2:41 pm Allen went 6 for 15 for 74 yards with an average of 4.9 and sacked 3 times for 16 yards. The good news for Josh is he is used to running for his life, having receivers that can't get open and can't catch a cold. The bad news is he's stuck there for the foreseeable future and will have to try and make things work with a bad supporting cast. Too bad. I just hope he stays healthy through all of this.

Agree. I think it’s only a matter of time before he takes a bad hit. Luckily he got a nice contract.CowboyNV wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 8:04 pm The good news for Josh is he is used to running for his life, having receivers that can't get open and can't catch a cold. It's mayday on the Bills forum. From the looks of today I think they should tank and protect Josh for the future. Let him play in garbage time after Peterman stinks it up every week and then get him some help in the offseason.

I mean, that does sound fairly reasonable.Poke in New England wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 8:53 pm It's mayday on the Bills forum. Some help? They need to replace most of the offense from what I've seen. They have a couple of good RBs, and Josh is, well, Josh. But the o-line gets mugged on every down, the WRs can't get separation, and when they do have breathing room, they drop the ball. Even when it hits them on the numbers.Poke in New England wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 8:53 pm It's mayday on the Bills forum.
