What's your favorite Border War moment?
I have a few... Either in 2004 when the snow started coming down and Malcolm Floyd laid out for a game winning catch. Also BVP's last game against UW.
Or 1996... The Drive. I was young and remember the game not being on TV. I listened to Kevin and Dave on the radio... Will never forget it!

Beating them 44-0 was pretty awesome.
If you ever need to laugh, just remember there was some idiot who wanted Bohl fired after 2 seasons.

November 2,1968, in Fort Collins the first year of the Boot, and the Pokes won 46 - 14. EPIC!!!
What is the difference between politicians and stoners? Politicians don't inhale...they just suck.

3:27 left in the 1st Quarter, 99-yard interception return by Blair Burns for a TD!
probably cause their grandkids were there and my language was (inadvertently) a bit....colorful

October 29, 1988 in Fort Collins. Wyoming 48, CSewe 14.
Many, Many reasons why, starting with friendships on the team, WAC title implications, the WYO crowd in FC was huge, the fact I was escorted out by 6 of FC's finest in the middle of the 4th quarter, fights in the parking lot, the Mingles bus trip, drunk the deed afterwards back in Laramie, etc., etc., etc.

the drive was fun, I watched that one....Nov 7, 1998, the snow bowl again, in bleachers on the NE side where they were lobbing snowballs in at us, I got tired of that we gunned our packed snowballs down at them...I really hate going to Hughes Stadium in general, been there about 5 times probably won't go back unless it's a huge meaningful game
This is a great moment!

The Pokes should bust that play out this weekend.
Have Herron and Miller do it. It would be perfect.

Ha ha, that was awesome. Should have been just a one game thing as CSU was supposed to replace their grass with field turf the following year. As it turned out that didn't happen and the field had that in it for all the the following season.stymeman wrote:when our fans burned the UW in their field with roundup, and they painted it, looked so goofy on TV
i don't remember who provided the pic.......but everybody needs to go look at the border war wikipedia page
